When wildfires devastated Southern California in January 2025, James took action, transforming his basement into a donation hub to support families who had lost everything.
With the help of his wife, he collected and distributed hundreds of boxes of essentials from clothes to baby supplies and used social media to rally support and reach more people who had been affected.
He inspired colleagues from across Barclays to support these efforts with their own donations, as well as coordinated efforts to ensure Barclays colleagues and clients in the area were safe.
