Ajay Kataria, Head of Electronic FX Distribution, Americas is putting his professional skills to work in support of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, which is dedicated to curing blood cancer.

In 2021, Ajay spearheaded Barclays’ first Commissions for Cancer event, raising funds from FX electronic trading activity for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Now in its third year, hundreds of sales people and traders across Barclays’ global teams together raised $400,000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, an astonishing 150% more than the previous year.

Barclays has supported LLS since 2009, raising over $8.5mn for the nonprofit's cancer research initiatives since then.

Ajay was awarded ‘Citizenship Achievement of the Year – Americas’ at Barclays' Citizenship and Diversity Awards 2024 in recognition for his great work.
