Global Head of Research at Barclays

Brad Rogoff is the Global Head of Research at Barclays, based in New York. He is also a member of the Barclays’ Investment Bank Management Team and serves on the US Executive Committee. In addition to his leadership role, Brad focuses his research on the US high yield, leveraged loan, CLO and private credit markets. Since 2009, Brad and his team have consistently been ranked in the top three by Extel in the High Yield Credit strategy category. Under Brad’s leadership, Barclays ranked #3 in the Extel Global Fixed Income Research survey in 2022, 2023 and 2024. Since joining Barclays in 2008, Brad has held a number of leadership roles across Research, including Head of FICC Research, Head of Credit Research and Head of Credit Strategy.

Shinichiro Kadota

Shinichiro Kadota

Head of Japan FX and Rates Strategy

Shinichiro (Shin) Kadota is Head of Japan FX and Rates Strategy at Barclays in Tokyo. Shin is responsible for providing clients with in-depth analyses on Japanese markets with focus on FX, rates and xccy basis. Shin joined Barclays in 2008 and has worked in various teams covering Japanese banks, foreign bond investment for institutional investors, foreign exchange and yen-rates markets. Shin was ranked #3 in Japan by the 2023 Institutional Investor Fixed-Income Research survey in the Currency & Foreign Exchange category. He was also ranked #5 in FX Research in the 2024 Nikkei Veritas Analyst Rankings. Shin is regularly quoted in The Nikkei, Toyo Keizai, Mainichi Economist, and Reuters among other major media. He graduated from UCLA in 2008 with a degree in International Economics.
