Brad Rogoff

Global Head of Research at Barclays

Brad Rogoff is the Global Head of Research at Barclays, based in New York. He is also a member of the Barclays’ Investment Bank Management Team and serves on the US Executive Committee. In addition to his leadership role, Brad focuses his research on the US high yield, leveraged loan, CLO and private credit markets. Since 2009, Brad and his team have consistently been ranked in the top three by Extel in the High Yield Credit strategy category. Under Brad’s leadership, Barclays ranked #3 in the Extel Global Fixed Income Research survey in 2022, 2023 and 2024. Since joining Barclays in 2008, Brad has held a number of leadership roles across Research, including Head of FICC Research, Head of Credit Research and Head of Credit Strategy.

Jack Meaning

UK Chief Economist

Jack Meaning is Barclays’ UK Chief Economist, responsible for devising and delivering the bank’s view on the macro outlook for the UK economy. He joined Barclays in 2023 from the Bank of England, where he spent three years as the Economic Advisor to the BoE’s Chief Economist. He also led the team that designed and evaluated the Bank’s monetary policy tools. In 2022, Jack coauthored the now international, best-selling pop-econ book Can’t We Just Print More Money? Jack has published a number of academic papers and earned his PhD in Economics from the University of Kent, where he was awarded the prestigious ESRC scholarship. He is also a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
