This Notice covers how we collect, use, disclose, and otherwise process Personal Information as of the date that this Privacy Notice is posted. It does not apply to any other information collected by Barclays outside of the covered Americas jurisdictions, or by other Barclays operations outside of the Investment Bank.
By “Personal Information,” we mean information that identifies or could be used to identify you personally.
We collect Personal Information about you that you provide to us in your capacity as a Barclays client when you interact with us either online or offline.
We use your Personal Information with our Service Providers for our everyday business purposes, including to conduct client management, operate our business, comply with applicable laws, regulations, and other requirements, and provide you with relevant marketing communications.
Where required by applicable law, we first obtain your consent before sending you marketing communications. You may opt-out of marketing communications from us at any time.
We may disclose your Personal Information to our service providers or other third parties for certain business purposes such as to fulfill your requests, meet our legitimate business and legal objectives, and provide you with relevant marketing communications.

By using a ‘common sense’ approach to security, and implementing collaborative security procedures, we can reduce information risk to our customers. Depending on the service you require, we will retain your Personal Information for business or legal reasons while you engage with us, and for a period of time afterwards, for the purposes outlined in this Privacy Notice in accordance with our data retention policy standards and as required by applicable law.
Our services are not intended for or directed to children under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect any Personal Information from minors.
We may amend this Privacy Notice from time to time to let you know about any changes to how we use your Personal Information. You can find the current version date listed at the top of this Privacy Notice.
